Meet Stephanie

I am a dietitian from Australia with a Masters in Counselling. I help other dietitians and nutritionists learn essential evidence-based counselling strategies needed for clients to be successful in their eating behaviour change journey. I have developed, evaluated and published an award winning counselling skills framework for dietitians to use within their practice to feel more confident, effective and efficient when working with clients and patients.

I am involved in research into how to best assess and nurture dietitians' communication and counselling skills and teach counselling skills at a university level. I am also doing a PhD exploring the impact of dietetic interventions on client outcomes, how referrals to dietetic professionals can be enhanced and which behaviour change/counselling strategies work best for people wanting to improve their eating behaviours.

I was awarded the Dietitian of the Year in 2024 by the Australian Allied Health Awards for my work in improving dietitians counselling skills and research.

I am committed to helping dietitians feel more confident in their counselling skills to be able to help their clients stay committed to change, keep them wanting to work with you and get results so you can have a more successful, profitable and fulfilling practice.

I hope you will join me and sign up to the masterclass.
